Lättykestit Returns to Saltbodan in Lovisa!

The beloved event from the summers of 2018–2019 once again brings together pancakes, a record flea market, and live music for an unforgettable celebration in the charming surroundings of Café Saltbodan. At the Lättykestit record flea market, you can sell your own records (LPs, CDs, DVDs, etc.) or other music- and film-related items by booking a sales table by calling +358 45 121 2923 (Väinö Honkanen) or by emailing lattykestit.loviisa@gmail.com.

Programme and schedule:

14:00–17:00 PANCAKES & RECORD FLEA MARKET
As always, Lättykestit offers both edible and listenable "records": come and discover musical treasures at the record flea market and/or enjoy freshly made pancakes. The soundtrack for the flea market will be provided by DJ Dösä.

15:00 ADA KATZ
Ada Katz is a contemporary singer-songwriter from Lovisa. Her dramatic musical language and performances balanced on a knife's edge invite listeners into the inner landscape of Ada's mind, if only for a moment.

16:00 OPEN MIC
Anyone is welcome to perform any kind of art at the Lättykestit Open Mic: music, theatre, stand-up comedy, dance... the only limit is the roof of Saltbodan's dance pavilion! Performers can sign up by emailing lattykestit.loviisa@gmail.com or at the event itself between 14:00 and 16:00 (provided there are still performance slots available).

18:00 HOHTIMET
Hohtimet is a Lovisa-based band consisting of Dunja Katz, Heini Reynolds and Sanni Verkasuo. With and without instruments, they perform sad, joyful, beautiful, ugly and wonderful songs about dogs, cars, death and birds. Among other things.

19:00 BILLY FROGG BAND
Billy Frogg is a Lovisa-born artist, and Band is his rocking backing band. After charming audiences as a solo troubadour at Lättykestit in 2018, Frogg returns this time with his full band to perform his upcoming solo album from beginning to end.

20:00 JUHA-MATTI PASKA
Helsinki-based singer-songwriter Juha-Matti Paska released his debut album in spring 2026. The record—already hailed by some as "Album of the Year"—has been especially praised for its clever lyrics and the band's energetic playing. Join Juha-Matti on a musical journey through his inner landscape and experience a remarkable run of new Finnish rock music that will have your feet tapping and your heartstrings trembling.

21:00 ROCK SILTANEN GROUP
Rock Siltanen Group is a hard-hitting three-piece rock band from Tampere. Consisting of Rock Siltanen, Joni Ekman and Sebastian Krühn, the band performs plenty of material from their 2025 album Systeemi while also revisiting their earlier favourites. The power of rock'n'roll is magical!

22:00 THE SEATBELTS
The Seatbelts are a Beatles tribute band consisting of Väinö Honkanen, Ada Katz and Onni Rajaniemi. Their repertoire features timeless gems by the Fab Four, performed with exceptional dedication, sensitivity, creativity and the powerful energy of a tight three-piece band. The Seatbelts are more than just another cover band – they are a live experience and an electric bridge between generations.

The event is open to everyone, free of charge, and has no age restrictions.
